This dining table was started many years ago and had to be put up on a shelf due to life's persistent duties. It was meant to go in our own home but as everyone knows the cobbler is the last to get a new pair of shoes.
Anyway, the various parts were taken off the shelf a couple of years ago and I divided my time to finally get it done. The top is made from 50 year old air dried Walnut with Ebony and Mesquite butterflies. The legs are made from Hawaiian Koa and Maple trim with rosewood and maple inlayed lines.
The trestle is made from Teak with walnut radioused caps and in laid with rosewood and maple, also there is a birds eye maple raised diamond in the center, and the wedges are made from rosewood.
