This stereo cabinet is composed of native Texas Pecan, domestic Walnut, Curly Maple, and Wenge. Mantle is made of Walnut slab. Step stool is made of Walnut and Pecan.
What is key to this piece is the overall design concept of tying together, in a cohesive way, all of the complex component into a visually pleasing and functional work. The total of fourteen separate electrical components had to fit in a relatively small space and serve both the obvious function of entertainment adn yet not overwhelm the room and be harmonious with the environment of the room.
