This bed was commissioned by a Texas couple for their southwestern style home. They supplied the old growth long-leaf pine. The head board, posts, and trim were made from green mesquite.

All joinery is mortise and tenon with wedged pegs. This bed is a platform bed, made for a six inch foam mattress. Poplar slats rest on rails and lock individually with dowels.
