This chair was constructed of Domestic Walnut with a Mesquite back rest. Bulging through tennons have maple wedges to lock joints securely. The half inch maple dowels have walnut wedges.

The chair offers excellent lower back support. This design is the only piece I did not completely design myself. I took from the incredible work of Scott Dickerson and created a carved seat and added some enhanced details in the exposed joinery.
